If you really wanna be thin, you should do cardio exercises everyday. Jogging 2 minutes everyday should be enough for you to burn enough fats so you'll grow thin.

Sit ups are fine but it won't burn as much as cardio exercises. You should mix both. Every after one round of jogging you should do 3 sets of 20 sit up reps.

You SHOULDN'T be skipping high glycaemic carbs, such as rice! Chances are, the carbs you're eating are too heavily processed.
Here's a tip: Swap white rice for brown and you'll get a steady release of energy throughout the day. Brown rice is good for you. It takes longer to cook but has essential fibre, plus protein and vitamins, that you need.
Other alternatives are grains like buckwheat, couscous, or wild rice which is actually a type of grass.
A large proportion of your diet should be green, leafy vegetables, and coloured foods such as peppers and carrots. EaTEN RAW IF POSSIBLE.
NOW HERE'S THE BIGGIE: Often, people swap carbs for oil in order to get a "full" sensation. Your diet should be low in fat, so remove the skin from poultry and trim meat such as pork and lamb. A diet high in seafood and fish is extremely good for you and, contrary to popular belief, won't be too high in cholesterol. Eggs in moderation are good too, and ignore the faddy "advice" about the yolks - they've got nutrients lacking in the whites, which are just albumin protein.
Use corn oil or olive oil for cooking, but literally wipe the pan with it. If you ditch rice, but carry on having everything bathed in oil, you'll not lose inches, you'll gain them!

I agree with 3honor regarding this matter. When you eat rice less, the primary source of carbohydrates is gone. Thus, you're body would adapt at first by fatigue-like symptoms, especially tiredness. Remember, dieting is always about boosting the metabolism and not halting it by cutting something down. Eat small meals consistently with appropriate times daily. Try to avoid snacks as well as the habit of eating when you're not hungry. Trust me, rice is not the main culprit. If you are used to rice, there are no means to cut it down. By the way, I am on diet too. But, my dependence is much on oats, keeping you full most of the time. For energy, I took 4 to 5 servings of milk on low sugar, as well as breads. Then, in the evening, I prefer light jogging for about 30 minutes. And I took supplements too. The result is pretty much convincing, because I've been losing about 4kg per month. It's slow, but you have to be patient.

wow.. you do jogging at night... the reason as why im on a diet is because i have a huge waistline.. its like 32-33cms... im like a pregnant male... i want to cut lose from it.. im doing exercise too but i think that it should be paired with good diet.. we usually have rice, and i eat a lot of rice, probably the reason as why i have a huge waistline.. i have never tried jogging, what i do is sit ups...

Well, sit ups would work on specific sites only, and since you're mentioning, your waist. Jogging is classified under aerobic exercise, and to reduce weight at a much faster rate, you should check on types of aerobic exercises. Mostly, I jog, play football and badminton, as well as sit-ups and push-ups. From your writing, I guess that you have accumulated fats at the stomach front, is it? Well, that is the place where visceral fats are accumulated, and the best way to lose them is by doing aerobic exercises.

I am also on a diet and like you. rice is now out of the picture in my meals. I do this because my lifestyle is very sedentary and there is no way that I am burning all the carbs that I consume.
If you are active, I dont think you should eliminate rice. as long as you burn them it's ok to have carbo. eat some protein to like fish and meat. Just stay away from the fat.

hi:)
I think it's better if you eliminate rice little by little so you're body will get used to your rice intake, me what I do is I ate what I want, I eat rice, meat, everything but I make sure that I also eat fruits and veggies everyday for my fiber needs, and I ate all what I want but always in moderation.
