The title of the poem is STRANGE FEELINGS FOR YOU... I wrote this poem out of the bursting emotion i felt. Writing for me is one way of coping. It let's me release the tension and burdens buried deep inside.
Let me share to you this poem. Hope you'll like it and feel free to express what you feel/reminisce/experience upon reading this poem...
STRANGE FEELINGS FOR YOU
The first day I meet,
I felt nothing for you,
We're acting cats and dogs on the move,
Still the war ended up good and smooth,
Our friendship lasted for years,
Still in that old known school,
Suddenly I happened to have a "THING" for you,
And it's puzzling me, why you?
Happiness is felt with your presence,
The jokes and smiles makes me burst too,
Sadness fill without one glimpse,
Like something's missing the whole day through,
Struggling to figure this feelings for you,
Is it for a lover or for a friend, what's true?
Prolonging the confusion might end up losing you,
Stand up girl! Shout, "I HAVE THIS STRANGE FEELINGS FOR YOU".

Thanks for the welcome...
I really love writing poem but starting to write one is quite difficult. Usually my pen starts to move when I'm feeling a very strong tension in my chest - may it be happy but mostly when I'm depress or heartbroken. Hope to read some of your poems in mylot too. Thanks again!!! ;)

You are not alone in the world of sad writers. Me too has that 'problem' but cool that I found out that its really not a problem but mood of writing. You have mylot and the community of helpful mylotters here to help you out, I'm sure you will be able to write in happy moments too.

hi:)
nice poem I should say, I admire people who's talented enough to compose poem or lyrics of songs, I just wish I can too, but sadly I'm not that imaginative. keep up your writing I'm sure that someone you dedicate this surely will appreciate it.

Hi flowerfest08!
Don't say that, everyone has their talent, it's just a matter of developing it. Some also has already this talent but didn't realize that he/she has already got it. Or perhaps, they are not good in writing but they are good in speech.
Maybe you're not imaginative let's say, but i know you have talent that is much better than being imaginative.

Hi biancacorreos :)
That is a great poem from you! You must keep it up! Its a nice way of showing your emotions. Art have been the medium for people to express their feelings. And a poem is a form of art. About the message of the poem, you seem to be a brave girl because you are willing to admit that you have "something" for someone. Most girls are conservative enough not to show any feelings even if they have "something" for someone. :)

Well, I'm a conservative type one before and until now but I'm an upgraded type. Like the world is updating and upgrading, people do so update and upgrade themselves, right?
The real story behind my bravery was when i attended my psychology review. The reviewer that time told us that if you'll not tell the person you like the feelings you have for, you'll never know the truth behind their real feelings for you too.
Then the reviewer throw this phrase, "It's better to tell him than to say nothing at all." I don't know what's with that phrase, its so encouraging... Hahahaha

Wow biancacorreos ! :)
The lines are so touching and makes me emotional . I too write poems to burst out my depression and worry . It gives a great satisfaction to put life into the words and get transported to a different world , a world so carefree , full of love , happiness and sunshine . The temporary feeling of enjoying an idyllic life gives grace and tranquilty to life . I am very impressed to read your lovely poem . Keep it up !!

Thanks you for appreciating my poem...:)
Yes, i do agree with you - it really gives me that satisfaction if i can put into words the things that aren't easily expressed. Like emotions, it needs a little more creativity and imagination just to give it life.

That's an amazing and powerful poem as well as being quite original in the use of words you use while describing emotions and experiences that will hit a chord with a lot of people I think. You have a talent. It reminds me of a modern day Wordsworth. I love Wordsworth! If you write when you are sad then at least it helps to relieve your tension and sorrow a bit. You might write when you're happy if you can have the confidence to - but do you need to write when you are happy? I enjoy writing some things when I'm happy and I write for different reasons when I'm low.

Thank you touchtype30s!
yes, I do sometimes write when I'm happy - I mean VERY INSPIRED!
Usually, words are bursting my thoughts when I'm very inspired. So what I'm doing is I'll write anything - words, phrases or sentences, that describes how i feel just to overcome such explosive emotion that's within me.
Well, everyone have different reasons for writing. The most important key to be remembered is that we're doing it out of will and passion. And perhaps to overcome what we are dealing with - may it be sadness or happiness.

Oops! Its Real:
just like a stranger in your heart,
expanding the boundary of friendship,
paving way for a strange feeling,
That only the heart can understand,
You can shout your lungs out,
But the 'thing' remains intact,
You can cry your heart out,
But the feelings still unmoved
You can do what you can
But the 'thing' is nesting in you heart.
Just wish, then it will happen,
go for it, and it will glow in your heart,
Practice it, and it will ripe wonders,
Love it then.. for it has your future.
