I'm trying to lose certain weight. It has raised 14lbs over the past several months. I'm beginning to see belly bulges, larger thighs and butt. I tried to do some jogging to lose weight, but I notice I ate additional too then.
However, my friend told me to sign up at a website. He told me to track what I eat. Based on your weight and your targeted weight, the system will compute the preferred calories needed for a day.
There were days when I was overwhelming too much calories, while other days I had less. The good thing is that you can also track your nutrients and analyze them in a graph. You can also track your events and it will gauge how much you burn.
So do you track the quantity of calories you take?

Well that's great to hear pogi253 that you are trying to lose weight.
I don't track the quantity of calories i take. It will be very difficult for me
because most of my favorites have calories like SODA it makes me smile,
chips, it brightens my day, chocolates, it helps me forget about my heartaches,
and of course the cakes and my all time favorite cream puff.
Do you think i can cut back on my calories and be miserable? Nope. Never.
So just like you i will just burn it off like maybe doing a lot of movements
like putting strawberry in my mouth and then savor it to exercise my jaw. LOL :)

But nowadays if i get these food i would it and enjoy myself eating it. It makes me happy and being happy can keep me healthy. Health is wealth?

Actually I have lost 24 pounds in the last few months, and I do not count calories at all. I do however limit the amount of carbohydrates such as breads, rice, pasta, and baked desserts that I eat. I will not have more than 1/8 of a cup of any type of pasta or 1 piece of bread at any meal. I also workout for at least 1/2 hour 6 days a week, and most days 40 minutes, and occasionally an hour. I will be 46 next month and I am thinner now than I was when I was 36, and that is awesome.

That's good to hear that you are health conscious. Practicing a healthy lifestyle can bring you an enjoyable long life. There are lots of benefits of a healthy lifestyle like:
- cutting the risk of contracting various serious illnesses, such as coronary heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
I don't track my calories intake. I always consume fruits and vegetables, low carbohydrates, and my regular dancing exercise.
Have a great day pogi253 :D

I do not need to lose weight since I have maintained the 100-110 lbs. However, I am interested in computing the calories of every food that gets into my mouth for health reasons. May I know what particular website would I be able to learn how to compute and track the calories of the food i have taken.

I used to use www.livestrong.com to calculate my calories and keep track of what I am eating. It will give you all kinds of information and helps you keep track of daily calories and exercise. I really enjoy using it when I was keeping track of my calories and exercise. Check it out!

Hi. No, I don't. But you are right if you exercise more you tend to eat more. That is why you have to choose your food. Eat more lean protein and lessen your carbo intake that way you don't feel hungry. And get rid of junk foods instead replace them with healthy but filling snacks. Good luck!
