My job is not a writer but a university student. When I was in primary school,I was trying to write a novel because I just felt like creating a world that only belonged to me.Of course,I may now consider the novel very childish and funny. But that time ,I wrote it and shared it with my classmates. And the ideas often came from the cartoons and the video games. It really gave me a happy time. Have you ever tried to write a novel even you gave it up halfway? Share your experience with us.

I had written one, over 80,000 words long, but I wrote it out of an emotional turmoil, so I didn't organize it with an outline or anything, I just started writing the story. Now I have to make an outline and synopsis so I can see about getting it published, but I won't do that until I revise it some more..

I currently have one chapter of one (plus the plot and outline info) and about ten chapters of another. I'm trying to decide which one to do NaNoWriMo with this year... or if I even dare, since it's a scary proposition. Probably the one with the outline.

NaNoWriMo is the National Novel Writing Month. It happens every November and all us budding writers try to write an ENTIRE novel in that month. It's a way to push ourselves, with lots of support from other people trying the same thing. It's a great idea but it's also scary to think of producing 75,000 words or so in 30 days...!!

I can't say that I have. However, I am currently in the process of trying to write one, as it's something that I would like to achieve. I've always enjoyed writing.

No, I haven't. I have written a few short stories. The whole idea of getting my novel published sounds scary and it's not for me. I do love to write, but I don't like it when people tell me that I am not good enough to be a writer. I will always love to write, but I like having my own freedom, and by that I mean, me writing blogs and getting all the money. Good luck writing your novel.

I felt like writing a novel when I was still young. Just like you, I want my to create the world of my own within my imagination. I never really finish my novel as creativity just way beyond me during that time. ic an write 500 words shirt story, but not a novel. If I look back, I think I regret that I don't just start it. A chapter a month, maybe I had a few novel now. Who knows. Like a wise man said, we never know where it ends unless we start it.

Yes I did a few. I have no idea what I should do with this now as I don't know if this is good and I have no idea if I have talent. The longest one has more than 500 pages and about 250 000 words. I admire everyone who got talent to write. I wish you all the best!

Writing has been my hobby since my college years, and is still is. I write articles , short stories, reviews, and so on. Novel ? Well, I should say I have. That was many years ago, and when my father saw me writing that, he took it and read through. That was it. After that , he never took a look at my novels. Ha ha ! That was how good I was writing novels. And, I don't do it any more since then.
