NO! Not in mylot...NEVER! This is inspired from my brother who's complaining how tired he is from work but never tell his wifey who is also complaining being a housewife. So, this reminds me with my own experience when once in my life I also complain being a plain housewife doing all the household works - thu my husband most of the time do the ironing (hehehe) (^_*) Out of the blue I said "I want to resign from being a wife and a mother" (`_`) My husband just laughed and said " get a calculator then".....a what?... Yes..a calculator "he repeated" ,so I can compute how much will I be paying you for your separation pay, and he adds more "anyway, how long you've been with the service eh" ...and he added more and still laughing... " how many times did you ever use your sick leave and also your vacation which is supposedly for one month, but usually you take 2 months vacation leave every summer" Have you ever think/consider of resigning from being a wife? oh NO...not for being a mother, I NEVER RESIGNED from being mother my kids are the BEST BONUS from being a wife Well guys, just for a break, my poetic mind stopped for a moment and wants to have some humor for the meantime - just for laughs (hehehe) Have a good day everyone (*_^) jaiho® 8/16/2011 2:34pm PT(Tuesday)

Hi Jai! You have great sense of humour, no doubt about it. I think when the pressure becomes overbearing in any role/profression, one thinks of resigning (atleast in his/her mind). We have been assigned some roles in this life in our private as well as our professional life and it will be in the fitness of things, if we perform our roles with sincerity, honesty and due patience.

I have never resigned from my job. I have been continuing in the same job for many years and since it is a very secured job, there is not any need to resign.

It is cool, imagine resigning for being a wife. How about if the husband also resigning as Husband? Who is remaining in the family? If applicable "family" will not exist anymore.

hello friend, This is only for the wives who are working full time mother and a wife. unless the husband is the "houseband" and the wife is the one who is working... so,,maybe we will consider exception to the rules if the case is something like that have a good day jaiho®

My friend- I said, that is an exemption to the rule, meaning, husband can be considered in many ways. Yes,it is true- this topic if you can read above was inspired from a brother who feels tired from everyday works, but never complains to her wife.

We cannot exempt husband to any rules because the possibility is there. If wife or wives are boring working in the house, it is common I heard like that, meaning wives are not happy for her daily routine, they wants something new. Which possible to be in mind also by the husband - what if husband said he is boring also to work and work everyday - do you think deffirent effect in the family.. bot the are hand and hand to bring the family together

It never crossed my mind to resign as a wife or a mother, to take a leave for a day or two, maybe, but never to resign. I believe that being a wife and a mother is the very thing that makes me, me. I love my husband and kids, they are the reason why I don't give up even if every single cell in me is shouting that they want to just surrender. I can stop being anything else in this world, but I can never stop being a mother to my lovely kids and a wife to my loving husband

hello silver, This is for humor. I know no one wants to resign as a mother, maybe as a wife, some resigned as we knew there are separated/single moms nowadays. But, always keep being a mother. thanks for your response and have a great weekend

hello neil, Here comes the mastermind 18 years...that's big enough then...but NO this is not meant for paying husband/s. This is for wives...so only wives has the right to resigned and asks for separation pay and..the husband has to pay for it. (hahaha) hugs to the super duper hyper lil kiddo sis, jaiho®

Hi jaiho: I am not a father or a mother either but from my experience I can say that I don't want to resign to be a member of my family. I feel blessed by their company. Sometimes we discuss and I feel sad a little bit but they are the persons that really love me and care for me. Sure I won't think about resigning on being who I am. ALVARO

haha I think though when you decide to be a wife sure thing is that there are no laws to support your resignation and only tendering at least 15 days notice. well at least hee in the Philuppines there is no divorce. :)

Hi Sis Jai, since you don't want to resign from being a mother, then you should never resign from being a wife as well. You really makes me surprised when you started this topic. I think i will always continue with my job as a wife and mother. So far, i haven't found any good reason to resign yet. Lets continue to b a good wife and mother. Happy posting, Jai...

Hi di That was a kool one - resignation as a wife and a mother... But unfortunately some places(or works - I wont call being a mother or a wife a job) - cannot accept resignations. I wanted to resign from the world a few years back but that was not accepted either and kept as pending Now, I want to be on the job and feel really good about the job though I am still to start taking up responsibilities. Seriously, professionally, I quit jobs at the blink of an eye - not because of the pressure (on most times) as I love my proffession but because of the attitudes of the seniors and co-workers. I think, these attitued of colleagues and seniors do play a major role when one starts to think about resignation. And yes, I must say, the Mother's job is quite like the job of God and as He cannot resign, so cannot the moms (especially the loving ones like you :) ran out of emoticons again grrr!)

dear sids, I run out of poem/s...guess my poetic mind get tired and needs some oil changed or might be the spark plug is not working good (*_*) hehehe. I did resigned from previous job due to same reason like yours. No problem with my seniors then, but with my co-workers who feels envy so I decided to leave my job rather than creating enemy around my working place. No matter what...like my previous topic about "MOTHER'S LOVE" no mother will ever wants to resign...but as a wife...YES Have a good day my dear and hope you are doing fine always your di, jaiho®

Jai beta First i thought it was another poem, but no, it is not!! You are not only a poet but a nice daughter who can made me smile. Some times Kalyni complains of tiredness doing the cooking etc for past years since 1966, this is due to persistant illness Blessings. Thanks for sharing Best of luck. Professor

Thank you for this funny discussion. Your husband has a great sense of humor. Can i borrow him for a day? And maybe you can have that day off! Ive been married for 8 years and never have i thought of resigning as a housewife. Maybe because i never became one. I should start applying to become one! I never do house chores, when my son was a baby it was me and my husband who take turns waking up at the wee hours of the morning to feed him and put him back to sleep. The nanny did the laundry, preparing of the milk, sterilizing and everything. House help do all the household chores. I worked and is still working until now, husband went to school and nanny takes care of our 7 year old son. Leave the disciplining to me and husband.

hello toni, I resigned from my job to become a full time mom and a wife. I do have nanny but only for the first year each time I gave birth -then after that I want to take full charged of everything (laundry can be sent to laundry house or a weekly hire to do the laundry and ironing is fine) Now my kids are young teens I am back to work again. have a good day jaiho®
