Hi zhawee, according to your situation I don't think it's the effect of coffee. Unless you always will have such nervous feeling after taking lots of coffee. If you wish to find out the answer whether you are nervous after drinking coffee or you are used to be nervous when you know that someone looking at you. So try to stop taking coffee as usual for a week or so or may be you could get the result. It couldn't deny that people who are sensitive to caffeine would feel nervous or might have heart palpitation if taking excessive coffee out of their toleration
Happy posting

I am a coffee drinker too, pretty much addicted to drinking coffee. I would drink four or five cups a day, starting from breakfast time. I don't know if that causes nervousness, but drinking coffee sure aggravates my blood pressure. I used to drink strong coffee, but , more recently, I have changed to decaffinated coffee to keep my blood pressure under control.

Drinking too much coffee can cause nervousness and heart palpitation. On the other hand, drinking coffee has a lot of benefits too, it reduces the risk of developing diabetes and some cancers. I always drink coffee or soda to help me stay awake for my job. Drinking coffee is not bad, just do not overdo it.

Hi zhawee, i heard that from my grandfather and grandmother, that saying has been passing from one person to another. I am not sure if drinking coffee really causes nervous to someone. I thought it was a superstitious belief because that was from elders.
