How can you show your appreciation?

What are some of the ways that you can encourage and show appreciation in your relationships, whether personal or business?. Me I always say to my family that I love them, I always thank my friends for understanding me, especially if I'm not on good mood. How about you friends How do you show your appreciation in your relationship with people around you?

A simple but heartfelt thank you can already mean a lot for me. There are many other ways, of course, like contributing in house duties and offering services and/or other things as sign of appreciation.

But of course, there are times that actions speak louder than words, and simple gestures showing appreciation could already mean so much.

I always say "thank you" or very much appreciated to people who have helped me in any way. Or if I have enough cash with me, I used to buy food to them.

yes when someone helped us we should say thank you always, and for them thats already means a lot for sure.

I do many different things to show my friends and family that i appreciate them. For one I tell them as much as I can. Or I write little notes, like I wrote my grandma a note thanking her for everthing she has done. Or I leave my mom notes on FB telling her I love her and i was thinking of her. The little things in life go a long way to make someone feel appreciated.

as time goes by so fast, i never forget day after day to hug, kiss and say "I love you" to my wife, to give my kids an appreciative smile on my office each and every time they do a good deed, and lastly i always take a moment of silence everyday to say my prayers and thank "Him" for all the blessings we receive everyday.

Hi Flowerfest. Most of the time when I appreciate somebody I smile at them, and honestly tell them that I'm so thankful for having them in my life. Even a single nod would mean a lot for me already. Sometimes I even kiss them if I can't hold already my emotions.

As i live in a very traditional country ,where oral appreciation is not popular ,i don't think i am gonna say something like that . I will do it in another way such as a smile ,a nod or just a blink . And in most of occasions, they get it . yeah, that is pretty much what i do when thanking my family and relatives .

I maybe very talkative and looks like a person who has a lot to say, but when it comes to showing appreciation i get tongue tied. So what i do is to put my words into action. I show appreciation by giving cards and writing down the words of appreciation that i couldn't utter. Or i send presents or gifts.

I always make it a point to thank them on a regular basis. Sometime I will send cards or a quick unexpected E-mail. I also believe people need to know they are appreciated for things they do. When you show appreciation, you will normally get a better performance. Best Wishes!
