I started my career in a China state-owned company,to work as a field engineer.The bulk of the company's business is something about chemical-petroleum engineering construction. My job is responsible for the installation instruction for mechanical process equipments. I have to work on-site, and traveler for business for long time, half year or more. It is a tough job, and does not need much
expertise skill. now I am feel a little tired. and start thinking that whether this company is fit for me or not.Maybe I should have other choice. I hope to enter an international company and have the opportunity to go to different countries and deal with people of all levels and culture. Also, I want to do the jobs which relates to my major. What can I do? Shall I continue or give up, can anyone give me some advice?

Hi, I am a Chinese. I just graduated this year. A state-owned company may seem good for the graduate. It can offer you good payment and wellfare. It loooks as if you are not satisfied with your situation at the moment. You want to work in an international company. But you don't know it is right to quit your current job, because leaving a state-owned comapny needs much courage. Words of advice: You don't have to quit your job now, you work hard and make efforts for your ideal job, opportunities will come to you fianlly, then you catch it. Your English is good and I think you'll get a job in an international company.

You must have a good knowledge of the subject for a great career and since you have a masters degree then this is not a problem. There is a wide scope of chemical engineering worldwide.
You must work on your english as this is a typical problem for most of the Chinese people and I am sure that you will overcome this if this is the obstacle in between a good career. Prepare for international english certifications like IELTS or TOEFL and get one.
you will be fine and then you will have a lot of options...

First,I think your English is really good;
Second, you have master degree;
Third, you have more work experience;
So,I think you can give yourself a chance to another big company--more of chanllenge,and use your major mostly.Maybe the treatment in a State-company is good, but I think personal development is the most important.If you are a person likes challenge,or explore, research,I think you can find a better job.
Good luck to you!
