My cousin just mentioned this word today. And what she told me aroused my interest regarding the matter. She said, we can travel through time because of this hole (which is like a smaller version of the black hole).
If that's real, then, its just good to know. I can't think of its significance, other than it would be a great discovery.

I am sorry to dissappoint you and the others, but worm hole has nothing to do with time travel. Never had.
Worm hole is a theory of possible SPACE shortcut between 2 points that are far far away one of the other - and a worm hole would make travell from one point to the other much faster - because of shorter distance, not because of time travell.

Then if possible, that would be a shorter way to travel to Mars. If people can ever live in Mars.

That is what I thought it was. If it really can be done, then we have discovered the answer to travelling to other planets in a reasonable time. It also explains how UFO's get here.

There's no scientific prove that we can make time travel. Someday maybe we can do it (but I doubt it) but right now is not possible. Time travel only happen in the movie but not in real world.

what I interpret about the worm hole is that through enormous amount of gravity force, it really bends the matrix of space....
thus creating a shortcut
instead of traveling the ship from left side edge of the paper to go to the right side edge of the paper, that distance traveled....
but folding the paper in order for those two edge to meet each other,
so the distance now are extremely near....
the distance of left edge of paper connects to the right edge of paper....
it doesn't need to travel thousands of years in a speed of light....

I like your explanation. Its just simple and I understood it more.

or just riding in an elevator or an escalator....
you don't need a 20 steps in order to reach 2nd floor...
but let the enormous power of the elevator or escalator do the motion
(without using your feet to climb stairs)
in a relation to Black Holes....

Yup..i too have heard about worm holes... many scientists are trying their best to research on it... its seems to exist in outer space and through the worm holes...one can travel back and fourth in time that to at speeds faster than the speed of light...
hope the scientists find a way to develop it and understand the secret about it... it will make travel much easier...

Our friends up there say its not about time travel but traveling in a shorter way from two extremely far places. That would still be a good function of the wormhole.

Well, I've made a lot of bad stuffs already.
So, it will be very time consuming to correct all my mistakes.
