Hacking; either prevent it if you can or be mentally prepared to accept it.

It is high time to take it for granted that the Internet would never be completely free from the attack of the hackers. They will penetrate into the computer system of an individual or an institute or any government establishment whatever security measures may be taken to prevent the hackers and thus there is every chance of the vital documents to be leaked and passed to the ugly hands of the enemies. So I think the traditional way of preserving vital documents and exchange of information should be returned back for the sake of comparatively more safety or we should take more safety measures and at the same time be mentally prepared for such occasional hacking to take place.

Hackers have the means to break almost any system. But just because they can, they do not do it. Hackers have their objectives. Some do it for fun, some do it to catch a site or people off guard. Some try to get popular. Most hackers are very educated as they need the knowledge of a lot of things. And they usually do not set off to ruin people.

Hackers i just don't get because it only affects the users so why do they do it to use, If you have a gripe with company's shut there systems down not ours! Perv's! well i think all men & woman are ever if it's just LOOKING at a man or woman's photo BUT there is a fine line that you just DON'T cross EVER but i think the internet has def made it worse but I'm sad so say i don't thing we will ever restrict the REAL PERVERT'S. BUT there isn't a real deterrent out there any more for any crime :(

doctordidi thats a defeatist attitude and most people will just accpt that. but if you have a decent fire wall on your computer and a really good virus protection you will not be hacked I swear iot. I was fifty some when I got mycomputer and am now eighty five and have never had anything hacked. the fire wall caught the few hackers who tried and they were repelled. just giving up to evils is not the answer and is just plain silly. like the awful Mexican street gangs and their drive by shooting, the police at times just ignore it and thats just making it worse. we call Sant Ana ca. Sewage Ana as its mostly illegal aliens from Mexico eith these young violent street gangs they brought with them.Protect your computer so hackers die try ing. not not just throw up your hand. ugh

When I was a subscriber to AOL I was hacked into constantly. It got very old. I think that we must all do our homework and keep up on what we need to do to be mentally prepared. Knowledge is power and the more we know about what our options are in security the better off we will be.

You're right. We should protect all our data. I don't know what will happen with them and anytime they're hacked. I can't image what can occur if the data of my pc would be lost!

I agree that hackers will always be around. But there are many new technologies that help secure computer connections. Especially government computers. Like any other criminal, they will always have to fight them.
