GI Joe: Retaliation

So although the previous GI Joe movie had pretty bad review and sales, there is a second one in production and started filming as of yesterday. New cast members include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Bruce Willis. I thought the last one was an enjoyable action movie if not really GI Joe honestly. I hope this one repairs flaws that the previous had and keeps the good parts. Are you ready for another GI Joe movie? I think I am but am somewhat cautious because from the last one, all though I enjoyed it, they were trying to catch the fan hype from Transformers by using all of that hitech gear and that just isn't GI Joe to me. What do ya'll think?

I think that is one reason GI Joe didn't have much of a following. Kids love techno stuff now days. Either GI Joe tries to come close or they get the bad reviews and lose the hype. Or lose the age group. I don't think my grandson even knows who GI Joe is. He is too into Transformers!

Me I can't stand the Transformers now. ever since they replaced Bumblebee with a freaking Camaro I lost all faith. He was called bumblebee be cause he was a yellow and black VW bug and that took that away from him. Also personally the movies are not good and do not do the franchise from the original cartoons justice at all. On the GI Joe you may very well be right on that one.

I didn't know anything about the VW BUg. Don't think my grandson is aware of that either. He loves Bumblebee, the camaro. I have been known to be right occasionally. LOL

I gotta agree when it comes to Batman especially the newer ones. Im ready for the Dark Knight Rises to be here already. Tom Hardy as Bane too just awesome casting. As far as Terminator never was a huge fan but Salavation was kinda cool.

I don't think the first GI Joe movie bombed at the box office, I think it just did OK. Otherwise they definitely wouldn't do another one, at least not a theatrical release. I didn't like the first movie but didn't really hate it either, I think it could have been so much better, it need a better director and a better script, that's for sure. The only reason I'm interested in the second part is the fact that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's gonna be in it. He's a beast, and I really enjoyed his part in Fast Five recently.
