I really don't care about 3D, I mean I saw 3D movies before, and really to me it doesn't look cool, it just looks like stuff flying into your face. From my opinion its a really stupid invention, 3D doesn't make me want to go see movies more, I mean if it were the best 3D movie ever where you felt you were actually in it then I'd go see the movie, until then I try to stay away from 3D

Maybe you really don't like 3D movies for they could not bring you some visual impacts. But i think i would pay more attention to the context of the movies, and the visual impact is just kind of decorations that could lead us feel more genuine in the movie.Have a nice day.

I have seen a couple of movies in IMAX 3D. Those have been a great experience, though it puts a lot of pressure on the eyes.
The more common and cheaper, are the movies which have been converted to 3D from 2D. Those are a waste. You hardly notice any difference and just have to pay more for the 3D.

The 3D movies are great since we can enjoy the vivid visual effects. It is good. However, it also has its disadvantage. Such as the price will be much more expensive than a normal movie. Besides, you have to wear 3D glasses so that you can enjoy it. Sometimes it will be a problem for children since the glasses size is not so suitable for them. As to a near-sighted person like me, I have to wear my glasses at first and then wear the 3D glasses together. Isn't it so troublesome? I must wear two pairs of glasses!

almost all the latest and upcoming movies are in 3D...but i selectively watch movies in 3D coz there are movies that you can watch in 2D with a minimal difference...if the movie is basically all made from CGI or animation then its a must to watch in 3D but if its in real action pack movies i just watch it 3D. I watch Transformers Dark of the Moon in 3D but the Captain America in 2D only.
Another, must test first if the 3D Glasses are eye straining...i have tried many theaters watching 3D and there are some after watching gave you a headache
now for the visual impact, well its nice and as if your in the movie...
maybe in due time we'll be watchin in 4D c",)

I haven't seen the latest new movies in 3D but I do remember seeing a movie years ago in Disneyland where 'things' seemed to be flying out of the screen and right up close. I remember jumping in my seat lol and I did think it was kind of interesting.

3D movies have the potential to be great as long as 3D is used in the right way. If it’s used as a novelty to make something fly from the screen then it’s pointless and annoying. But if it’s used to make a scene come to life, to give it a natural depth then that is different and it is aiding in making the movie better. Sadly most movies which go 3D haven’t really understood the technology and use it partly as a novelty to get people to come and watch a movie that they may not have bothered with.
And to be honest no amount of 3D can make a movie great, it needs to have a decent storyline and good acting as well as direction to even start to being anything more than average.

Yeah... 3D,4D , one day maybe 5D ....3D movies are more exciting 'cause you feel like you are part of the movie ... My favourite one is " Cloudy with a chance of meetballs " .When the hamburgers started to fall from the sky i tried to catch them in the cinema ... ;d IT was very funny .In my opinion there should be more films on 3D :)

I have seen a few 3D because my son or his girlfriend would prefer to see it over the regular movie.
The last 3D movie I saw with my son's girlfriend was Clash of the Titans. After forking out 13.00 for each ticket, and the movie effects were not all that different than the regular movie I have not wanted to see another one.
One of the TV companies come out with a 3D TV but the kicker there was you got one set of glasses and had to buy as many other sets of glasses as you needed.
Personally I still like the original Clash of the Titans to this movie.
But when they can't think of any new story lines, thats what we get remakes and remakes.

I hate watching movies in 3D.. It's just so painful to the eyes and head. And i'm tired of hearing people say: "OMG! A 3D Movie! My uber cool friends say it's awesome,So I like it too!!.
They think that because it's in 3D the movie is better...
Personnaly I just hate using those glasses, and it's overpriced... 8€ for a movie ticket? FFS.
And nowaday cinema sucks... They don't make movies like Star Wars or Lord of the rings anymore. I'm tired of cartoonish movies, but that's all teenagers see nowadays.
The last decent movie I saw was transformers 3, But I miss those movies that had 6-7 episodes and an epic story (and i hate harry potter movies, but the books are epic :P)
