hello lotters,
I often see some people using slang when they are angry or somebody annoys them or opposes them. But on the other side I have seen some people who don't even show their anger and humiliates people by their silence or or by their some cool but sharp words which cuts through the heart.
So what do you do?
You start out bursting on others or you stay calm and look at the people gently with a cool staring and teach them a lesson through it??
i actually do both. In case of office I use the silence treatment technique and say a few words which are very polite but enough teach a lesson but in case of my friends I always use use slang because the silence treatment don't work on then.
But my boss does just opposite to me,he shows all his anger in office, yells at us, And in front of his family he uses the silent treatment..

I agree with anitoton. I believe most people gets promoted if they have a lot of patience. But of course, I don't think silent treatment is always necessary because the employee will not have any idea or what went wrong so they should always communicate.
Sometimes, I speak with slang words but not that vulgar. :)

What do you mean slang? When I am angry sometimes I release it as fast as a lighting, sometimes I think first before getting angry. I only get angry quickly when there is unexpected happen to one member of the family and that involves my enemy or involved a person I really hate. I lost my cool and sometimes I throw out things just to release my anger. AT work before, I do not show my anger in front of the people. sometimes there are cases that I am being reprimanded by the things I had done, but I do not intend that to happen or there are other people that are the original source of the problem and I just made a mistake because of them. That is really unintentional. I will just go back to my table and reflect about what happen and I usually talk to the people involved especially those source of the problem and then solve it right away. It is not a good idea when you are working and you have excess baggage, you hate your co-worker, it is not a good idea. But still I get angry, but I do not react immediately, I keep it with me first then talk to the people involved professionally. At home I usually get angry, but I only keep silent for a while. It really depends on the problem that came to me.

Anger management is a big task nowadays. There are people who take anger management lessons. Why be angry when you know you can handle the situation with a cool mind. Using slang for your junior does not prove your superiority, it just degrades your image in their heart.
