The Amazing Wonders of Water

Five days ago, I started on a detoxifying diet. It is mainly composed of lemon juice, honey and cayenne powder mixed in a glass of water.I take this concoction 8-10 times a day; less carbohydrates in my diet and no mixing of carbs and protein. Today, I noticed that my skin became clearer and I became slimmer. I feel lighter and not irritable. Water as the main component of this diet, helped in cleansing and regulating my body's metabolism and other bodily functions. This is amazing because I did not do some exercise, purely, this diet. I can sleep well at night and even my face has a certain glow.:-) I am really amazed with the results because I never had this kind of experience in just a few days. To date, I lost 4 lbs. :-) It's really amazing because of the multiple effects.

Hi janevi, Congratulations. Good that the diet is effective for you. May i know the measurement you used for this concoction? Did you use 1 tbsp. each for lemon, honey, and cayenne powder? Thanks.

Sure, I am using 2 tbsp of lemon, 2 tbsp of honey 1/10 tsp of cayenne powder in 250 ml of warm water. It has a very soothing and relaxing effects. You would love to take it as much as you like anytime of the day. But the real techniques is taking a glass of this mixture 10-15 minutes before meals especially before breakfast because it also helps in regulating hyperacidity. But be careful, this is not advisable for people with liver problems

Hi janevi, Thanks so much. You're post is very helpful. I have heard that lemon and honey mixed together with warm water is good for the body. But it is only now that i learned that cayenne powder has also good effects if added to this mixture. So far, none of us here have liver problems. So, we'll give this a try. Thanks.

You're welcome. :-) Cayenne helps in burning out the fats in the body. That's why it is also has a slimming effect. :-)

WOW janevi First of all- congratulations!! I'd like to know your intake of other nutrients. You haven't totally given up on carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins, right? How much are you taking them everyday?? And doesn't cayenne make it too hot? Is it tolerable? Please let me know... And thank you so much for sharing this! I'm going to try this! Thank you vkatrix. Less carbs and proteins compared to the diet I was used to take before. Cayenne is tolerable because its only 1/10 f a teaspoon nad its mixed with lemon juice and honey. You can try it but I can't assure you that you will have the same effects like mine.

Hey janevi! My first and foremost priority is to drink 8-10 glasses of NORMAL water in a day. Because of the rainy season, my water intake has dropped to all time low - I didn't realise the day before that I hadn't taken a sip of water all day! The only way I realise how much my water intake has been is through my mood. Like you yourself mentioned, a good water intake makes one less irritable. So right now, I'm only going to focus on having sufficient water in the day: the detoxification comes later! ;) Have a great day! :)

I read it somewhere that one should drink at least 2% of the body weight water daily. It helps in so many ways to our health. I think it will be good if one maintains this routine for a long time and if it becomes a habit then it will be better.

OMG, I must try this! :) So, all you need to do is drink this eight to ten times per day right? I'm so excited. I'm gonna buy the ingredients this weekend. :D

You can try but there is no guarantee that it will have the same effects on you. Each person has a different reaction to same stimulus remember. Good luck!:-) These are the effects on me .
