FIFA was asked to form an independent team to investigate allegations of corruption Anti-corruption organization Transparency International said FIFA should form an independent team to investigate allegations of corruption in order to hit a crisis of confidence that FIFA could be ended. Transparency International said an independent team should consist of football supporters, sponsors, clubs, and journalists. "FIFA have said they want to reform. But cases of bribery makes public confidence in the FIFA at their lowest," said Sylvia Schenk of Transparency International told the Reuters news agency. "Willingness to cooperate with other parties and give them access to the investigation will show that FIFA wanted to change. And that change must start now," he said. The call came after FIFA president Sepp Blatter asked for input Transparency International after emerging cases of alleged bribery and vote buying in the FIFA presidential election. inPut from Transparency International includes suggestions for FIFA to announce publicly the financial statements, including bonuses and salary administrators. Another Board FIFA, Jack Warner, to resign for alleged involvement in the case. Bin Hammam insists he is innocent..
