Hi mylotters! Does anybody here use Flickr.com to upload their pictures and videos. Here is my dilemma, last February 2011, I uploaded a batch of pictures there however when I tried to upload another batch of photos this month, the February upload was missing. Does Flicker delete your photos if you do not upgrade to their paid service? If that is the case I will stop uploading in flickr and go to another photo sharing website. Can you recommend another photo sharing site that does not delete your photos while enjoying free service? Your feedbacks are highly appreciated. Thanks mylot.

he there is no such kind of problem to flickr they keep your photo untill you limit the space. there after you are not allowed to put any photo to that account but they will not del it i know for sure.
I think better to go for picasa. 1 gb is enough for the photo and video sharing or you can go for photobuket as well.upload video to youtube with private link.

Thanks for the information Rajeev.
So the 300mb free space Flickr mentioned is for the entire free membership service? I thought you get free 300MB a month for the free service. I'm still confused as to where my pictures went.

Sometimes the price for using a free service is a bandwith limit. If you exceed this limit, your photos may be deleted to make room for the new stuff. However, I don't use flicker. I use either photobucket, or just upload photos directly to facebook. Photobucket offers a free sharing service, and there is a bandwith limit. Best thing is you can keep track and adjust accordingly. But, that's the only free photo and video sharing site out there. I know several just video ones though.

Yes, they set a bandwidth limit every month of 300MB. I thought I would get the 300 every month, and the previous uploads would not be affected. Thanks kaylachan

I don't use flickr service at all, so I don't have any idea of it. There are plenty of service you can upload some photos on their site without worrying about sign up their paid service. I hope that you enjoy the free service rather than pay for it.
