Not knowing why you are stressed, the first thing to do is breathe. While everyone becomes stressed in one way or another, there are little things to slow down and be good to yourself. Just a few deep breaths can sometimes help you to collect your bearings. Another thing is draw you a bath with some bubbles and just relax. While taking care of the little one inside of you growing, you have to remember to be good to yourself too. As they say a piece of chocolate is a girls best friend too As the others said a good book, a movie you like, talking with family or friends, anything that will take your mind off of why you are stressed. If this does not work make sure you talk to your GYN the next appointment. He can refer you to counseling. The main thing is destress. Don't want your blood pressure rising. So please let your OB GYN know for the health of you and your baby.

Actually, I had meant to mention that you should lay comfortably and breathe deeply for a few minutes every day. It will slow your heart rate and reduce your blood pressure and you will feel so rested. Not sure about the bubble bath, too many of those can cause a UTI. I think I am going to go listen to my ocean sounds on a CD right now and breathe deeply myself.

You do not say what you are stressed about, so it is hard to say just how to deal with the stress. Based on the little you did say, I will tell you to make sure you got to bed at a decent hour, cut out caffeine, take lots of walks if possible. Do whatever the doctor says to do.

I think that looking at pregnancy pictures week by week can make you feel happy. I suggest that you will enjoy finding out baby names that you like for boys and girls. I think listening to relaxing music could help you. I know that a country walk can help so you can take in fresh air. It would give you light exercise. Good luck.

Take some extra time to yourself go on walks, read books or watch a movie. You probably just need to relax some more.
