As technology improves so much childrens are trained to use internet in their young ages. But i started to type www.google.com when i was in my seventh standard when my friends told me that we can see movies in internet. From that age to this google is my first and favorite site. Friends in what age u prefer to use internet and which incident makes u to use internet at first time?

Hi naseem!
I first started using internet after I graduated from high school. I took a vocational course which was basic computer programming and so we were taught to use the internet. We had to have emails so I had my first email with yahoo. I think that was the first site I was introduced to. And then we used to chat using the mIRC. We used to have free time and free use of internet in our lab and all we did was chat in mIRC.

Hi naseemkum, I had retired before I started using the Internet, but now I am enjoying it very much and learning as I go along. Many children today consider a computer as something that was always here as there was at least one in their home when they were born. In a few more years, people will have a difficult time understanding what life must have been like without the Internet. Blessings.

I started using internet when I was 1st year college, I'm 17 at that time. Internet is other way when you do research aside from the traditional library. In fact it's the easiest and the fastest way to get information.
Being expose in the usage of internet at early age is advantageuos but it requires parental guidance 'coz there are lots of sites that are not suitable to young users.

I started using dial up like 12-13 years ago, so approximately 8-10 years old or so. Never really thought of the internet much, just for video games back then. Of course the internet has developed to be very useful and popular to everyone.
I think once you start doing homework at a young age, internet is quite useful. Though it should not be the primary source of knowledge, it can be a source of knowledge.

i think i was 12 that time and i rented a computer in a computer shop at that time also. that time, i have an idea on how to use a computer but i don't have any idea on how to use it on an internet. when i learned on how to use it, i started using yahoo.com as my search engine and began to search some sailor moon pics :) since then, i became addicted to the internet and when weekend comes, i always rent a computer in a computer shop and surf the internet

I really can't remember the exact age that I started using the Internet. If I remember correctly, I was about 10 or 11 years old. I think that it was something like that, but it wasn't earlier than that though. I was at least 10, definitely not younger than that.

In my 30s. I don't remember when was the entry into emails and internet. Few things I can recollect is that I started using it when it was introduced first time in the office where I was working. As the company is a multinational company based in the US, they done a lot of experiments before it got implemented. It was not popularly started using in India and I can say we were using it only for internal purposes and slowly come to know that the revolution of internet would surrender the world. And it happened now.
Thank-s

I started to use internet 1998. At the time I was 40 years old. When it comes about for children to use the internet I let my children get online while I keep my on what they're doing when they are at the youngest 7 years old. I make sure I know which websites they go to. In the beginning we sat together surfing the internet. I always keep an eye on what my children do on the internet. They're allowed to go to safe websites, which I know about.

I started to use internet very very late. I'm over 21 now, and I started using just one year ago. So I was over 20 that time. My first email account was created by my friend. But I couldn't remember password. I created my facebook account last year.
But now I use internet a lot and for most the things that may be done at internet like, watching videos at youtube, chatting, downloading movies, softwares, surfing etc.
I realize that I interacted with internet very very late. I should have started to use it somewhat earlier.

I was one of the late bloomers of my batch. I am 24 right now and I started using the internet just 9 years ago and I'm still not a internet/computer expert until today. I don't think your age of exposure to internet matters much. Its just that we are now more exposed to the new technology.

I started using the Internet very early. When I was 7 I got my first computer and since then I use it almost every day. I only had internet 1 year later, and that's when I started to play videogames, it was so awesome...
I was in primary school, and while my friends were playing tetris, supermario, or pinball, I was playing counter-strike and medal of honor allied assault :P
When I had my first computer lessons in school, I was ahead of everyone else, I also knew how to speak english a lot better than my classmates thanks to videogames.
During all my school time I had "Excellent" every time in English without touching a book while my classmates studied hours and hours to get an "Excellent".
P.S. I'm from Portugal, so that's why none of my classmates could speak english like me

I started when I was 11 and from then on, we were inseparable (a nicer way of saying I got addicted).
But children nowadays have started way earlier than we did. My niece started playing games in the internet when she was 4 and so did her sister. They went to sites with barney and coloring pages. And schools have already included the internet and computers as part of their curriculum at an early age of 8.
