When you're young and restless and in love.
They say we don't really chose who we love, we just look at this person in a crowd and suddenly we feel fireworks.Who would even thought that I would fall for my cousin, second cousin.Yes and even though being second cousins is not as complicated as being first cousins or worst brother and sister, still you can't help but still get a lot of resistance from your circle of family.
"Leave him!".Like a sharp sword that struck my heart,these are the harsh words said to me by my Mother.I tried to reason out but I was just ignored and told to obey at all costs.
So , me and my cousin started to see each other secretly.We bonded, fell in love more, enjoyed a lot of walking-in- the-parks, sharing meals and enjoying bus rides together only to be separated when we are getting near to our hometown.
We broke up, not because we got defeated by pressures from family.But is was just another case of those good things that doesn't last. But we fought for our love, yes we did, as cousins and lovers we fought for our love.
We reconciled a few years later, but it didn't work for I was more in love with another guy.
Did you by any chance , have fallen in love with one of your close relatives? Is it a secret up to this very minute or did it got a chance to flourish somehow?

Well I and my cousin who is also sister of my brothers wife we both were know with our hearts that we like each other but never expressed our feelings. An silent acceptance was made between us and I am unable to name it till now what was that?.
I just told my mother, "I want to marry her" she talked with my father and both accepted my choice and went to propose her. But......her mother rejected me although her father was in my favor but final decision was a big "NO".
The reason her mother gave was, "We do not give two girls in one family" what a bulshit reason that was. Since that we both whenever meet on family get together we see each other and just give an happy smile. :)
She is married and mother of 3 kids now.......:D

Your story made me smile. That's some love story you have huh. So tell me honestly, do you still love her and do you feel she still loves you?
Sometimes that infatuation or whatever it was at that moment fades away with the passing years.But some doesn't.(*wink8*)

Can't say that this has ever happened to me. I'm happy to hear that you found someone else to fill that space in your heart, though. I just think that, as strong as love is, some things should take priority. And, had you stayed with him life would have been difficult because the same person you referred to as your cousin you would also refer to as your lover or your husband.

I know , but in all fairness, he is sweet guy , thoughful , down-to-earth and really good-looking.I left my husband whom I have favored over him. I don't know where my lover/cousin is right not, I hope he is happy.But you know, if ever our paths should cross again, and he is free to love anybody, ...I would surely do it all over again with him.
