There are many disasters or calamities that arises everyday. Poverty is also one, volcano eruptions, earthquakes, tidal waves, typhoons, tsunami, etc...etc....My thought that God is not punishing us but HE is reminding us that HE is always there to comfort and help us, He never gives us problem or trials that we cannot solve, He is doing it for us to develop a strong faith towards HIM and for our Betterment............

I think as a human being we have to face what we have done to nature.
Everytime we distroy the rules of nature it stricks back strongly. We have to face there is no other way out I think

I agree with you about the fact that God will never give us anything we can't handle. I don't know about the weather thing though.

I don't believe that God sets up every little disaster, but I believe that He does try to show us how disasters can be learning experiences for us that will also help us to grow spiritually. Of course, the choice is always up to us, because He created us to be freewill people.
God doesn't give us anything that we can't handle--but, often, we aren't convinced that we can.

I think you are unnecessarily involving GOD in something which man has started.He rolled a pebble and now gathering dust on its way it has become a huge rock.My dear we have challanged environment in many ways and see what it has led to,so Please leave poor GOD out of this.Its our own deeds that we are facing this.

No I dont think so but I guess because we are on the last part and it really should happen before the coming of Christ...
