Why do we even live?

We're all mortals unless scientists can figure out a way to make us immortal like vampires . We have to accept the fact that when we reach old age, life is going to be over for us when that day comes. Right now the economy is still down affecting many folks out there. Not only is there a lot of competition and difficulty of getting a job or even to the college of your dreams, but there's also natural disasters going on around the world, like the Japan tsunami that happened a while back and volcano eruption and floods in other countries. Even wars going on in countries and crimes going on, like the riot in London and people being robbed. Banks and big car corporations being bailed out by the government. Also, people are saying the President is not helping much but is helping only his own self-interests.
It seems we have to suffer in order to live. Is this really worth living for?
Have you ever questioned yourself why you even live?

When that question gets brought up I just think of everything that I love and that makes me happy in this world. Even the pain in this world I think is worth living, the worst feeling is not feeling at all. Even the pain and suffering is worth living because you are alive and I think people don't always realize how much they love themselves, their family, friends, and life in general. Everything that you love and enjoy and that makes you happy, whatever that may be, makes life worth living. Everyone has their own perspective and feelings towards this and I think everyone can find their own meaning whatever that means to them.

life is worth living by the amount of effort you put into your life. Even though theres all these things going on around the world, as much as I care about it, I put my focus on the things around me that affect me the most. Doing well in school, taking care of my girlfriend, spending time with my family, these are the things that I value the most and my life isn't that bad, so no, I never questioned why I even lived, I live for my actions, values and my beliefs.

I think we live to get the most out of life. Then wherever we go at the end, is wherever we go in the end. Perhaps we are really just pawns of some devious higher power. Perhaps we are some high class science experience. Perhaps there truthfully is no force out there. Perhaps we are just here to see how long we ask before we kill ourselves off.
I really never questioned why I live. I just get the most out of the time that I have here. My time could be a week, a month, a year, or decades and decades to come. You just never know. There could be some disaster that will engulf the Earth that would be the straw that broke the camel's back and it would be the end. I just tend to live my life, getting the most out of it. There are circumstances that make living my life not the easiest thing in the world but I do try.

Yes, I had questioned myself many times :)
And it come to these conclusions:
1. I am life so that I can make myself useful for my family, community, country, and religion
2. I am life to praise and worship God
3. I am life, for a better life on afterlife. In other words, I am struggle for my life, so then I can reach Heaven :)
Cheers
