one of the required assignments that i need to do is to convert all cases to html so that all will be converted, imprinted and be available on the web when a a client looks for a case for his/her reference.
earlier, I was going through a lot of books and I encounter a case that was filed for bankruptcy. my job was to convert it to html since it was the request of the client. having to discuss the book and identifying it - my eyes bled (not literally - more like the term is expressed as a brainstorming or just mainly a shock to what I have to know by that time - yes, information overload).
it IS hard to be a lawyer. having to go through all those article-article stuff plus the laws that can be applied and can work against the case.
i was not even halfway from my job and i want to "rest my case" already. tiresome caselaws. LOL
I admire and respect the lawyers who goes through all these laws. It's not an easy job. Most especially to those lawyers who offers help without expecting something in return.

Yes, i agree. It's not easy being a lawyer because other than what they are supposed to learn, they have case studies as well. Other than knowing and acquiring knowledge locally, they have to turn to international case studies, especially those rare ones. I respect them for their job, but not their attitude, when it comes to those snobbish ones.

I honestly don't think that I would be able to be a lawyer. Now, don't get me wrong, research is something that I enjoy doing, but I can't always turn that research into something. Then there is the fact that sometimes you might have to defend a person that you know is guilty of the crime and my morals wouldn't allow me to do that. I personally admire lawyers for the job that they do, but I know that it is not something that I would be able to do.

True. But you can always pursue it without having to go through the difficulty of defending someone, you knowing, that he/she did the crime. I hope you'll be able to fulfill your dream. May it be a lawyer or not.

its easy to be a lawyer. all you have to do is lie and your in. har har har joke. i have a cousin who just graduated from that course. and a course like that needs a lot of focus and a lot of memorization. soon he will be taking bar exams and we all pray for his success. yes it is not easy to be a lawyer for you need to know the law and it is a never ending study for when a new politician comes along they always wanted to put additional law.

i also know how hard it is too be a lawyer especially being a court lawyer trying to prosecute one that you know is innocent.
it's hard for a lawyer to convince the court that his client is innocent when you know for sure that he is actually guilty.
i rest my case, your honor.
