In what we find strength to overcome difficult moments over anger over failures over breakups? In books? In kindness reliable friend? In Escape from your own life? Deep in the soul?
In books we find evidence that we are not alone, not singular in our strangeness. But there are moments limp and drink good coffee with loved friend, dance barefoot in the grass, the prayer of the heart, there is the sunrise waiting in the garden, strawberry cake or chocolate ice cream, sweet sleep waiting for a dream movies Laurel and Hardy, the memory of one kiss that changed your life, embrace a child that you brought immortality. Where Do you find your strength to move forward beyond bad moments?

I think that first of all we have to find the inner strength that motivates us and help us get through those difficult moments, there are many occasions when we can't do that alone,we really need the loved ones or maybe our closest friends to be close to us and help us in those hard times, because solitude is very dangerous in such moments.Reading a favorite book, listening to the music we like or any hobby we have are also necessary activities in such moments because they will distract us,at least partially, from our darkest thoughts, but I think the most important aspect in difficult times remains the presence of at least another person close to us.

Indeed, the book was often a factor of power, trust, that still can be as much sadness was on this earth but that then was good and beautiful and more clear in my soul.
In my family, loved, I always found power, knew how to tell me what I wanted to hear so I can go on. And in God, over and over because he always showed the power and did so bad to turn for the better.
Sometimes even a good movie for the pessimistic thought that manages to remove it instead leaving hope, will die along with me. Is it unconscious, immaturity? Probably because the truth is somewhere in between, always. Wishing you a week to rediscover the power of us confirmed in the realities of life. And YES,"the most important aspect in difficult times remains the presence of at least another person close to us".
Thanks for response.

The most comforting strength has to come from within. it is the building block and foundation that strength can grow from. Good friends and supportive family can also be sources of strength and courage for us to rely and depend upon.

Hi. I find strength through prayers. That is my way of communicating to God. Telling him how I feel, what I want to achieve, my problems and thanking him for all the blessings he had given me.

hi:)
When I feel stressed and down, I pray because I remember when I was a kid my mother always telling us that that if we feel weak all we need to do is pray because God extends His love, compassion, grace, and mercy to us more when we are weak. and also I eat chocolate ice cream when I'm stressed until I finish the whole pint.

I've been mending a not-so-broken-heart of mine lately. I know I could cry all day yet the pain won't totally ease away. Prayer is a constant thing for me. Whenever I'm weak, down and feeling so alone, I always yearn to the One whom I know understands me the most... Second, I've learned to aim high, dream more and work on my goals. This keeps my mind busy. And most of all, it boosts the exciting nerves in me! I'm always excited to see my dreams coming to reality. So even if I'm going through a difficult time, I never really felt like I'm weakening, the way I am before.

I do it through the escape of my own life, meditate and sometimes, the best of my friends would come and comfort me in my times of dire need. I would be in shambles for days though, but once I come out, I'm better than before. In times of bad moments, everytime we get knocked down, stand right back up! The more times things strike us down, the stronger we get!

In the midst of adversity or failure or being ignore, rejected or is seen as a hopeless useless creature I have my inner strength and my determination. I've a survivor. I love to compete with myself. I dislike to be a failure or a looser. I can for a time go inwardly to regain the courage to evaluate what went wrong. Then I puff up myself with strength and courage. I often tell myself out load; I can do it. I'll be succesful!

Our strength is only find in Jesus Christ. Sometimes, though in the midst of trials we can still experience the comfort because of the grace of God.

I find my strength in my family, my God (I beleive in Sai Baba)and my past experiences. A lot of hard times we have to see in our life but we shoudl never forget that bad times are there for a reason- to make us appreciate good times. We should always remain humble and down to earth and connected to our freinds and family. then even if we face hardship, it wont matter much bcuz we know it will pass some day if we make efforts to improve our life.
