If I had a relationship for eight months and then split up I would feel sad. It would be a shock to find myself pregnant in that situation. If I had enough money to live on I would carry on my pregnancy and let my baby be born. I wouldn't tell the father because he left me. I would not need child support for my baby. If that had happened with my favorite ex-boyfriend I think I would have told him about the pregnancy. Like we split up at the end of February that year and he and I met up at the beginning of July. In that case I would have told him there. I wouldn't ask him to pay any child support. Really in that case I would be hoping to get back into a relationship with that favorite ex-boyfriend.

I think the father has the right to know. Relationship or not, he would always be the father of the child. And even if he is not needed at the moment, I'm sure there will come a day when the child would be asking and wanting to know or meet his or her father. Now if he is decent enough, then he shouldn't deny child support.

if i was in your situation then i will tell the father. i think it is a right of the father and the child too.

It depends if I still love him I would definitely tell him, if not then go on with my life and raise my upcoming baby alone.
