No, it's not. It's just that poems have been worked into larger, money-making creations (songs, books, etc.) that focusing too much on the actual poetry sort of turns you into an outcast.

Writing poetry is timeless artwork. Poems are words spoken from our soul. Writing poetry is like painting a picture or a story in words. It is impressive how you can tell a lifetime story with only a few words. I write poetry when I have much emotions to handle. It's a good way to let feelings out in written words.

No, it's not. I love poems, it's just that I don't have a gift for that. Poem is one way of expressing oneself. Good day!

Thanks for your comment! You are right about it! I'm a lucky person, I have that gift, unfurnately I feel that poems aren't good enought apreciated as they were in the past. Now we have the Internet, the TV...the video games that distract our attention, but once a gain thanks for the feedback, I'll remember your opinion. Have a good day too!
