I was just wondering what most of you horse people would think or classify a rescue horse, and if you did rescue one would you still be willing to pay what they are asking for the horse once you got it home and then realized what shape it was in?

rescue horses need to go to expierenced homes only most horse that have been rescued need special attention and often will have medical issues for the rest of their lives when i was looking to buy another horse i looked at some rescue race horse thoroughbreds they were right off the track from racing they were the horses that were not winning any of the races and their owners did not want them anymore a straight off the track race horse will have all kinds of medical and health issues and not to mention will be a very highstrung horse a horse of this type would need an experienced owner that knows how to read and understand horses

I want to buy a horse in the near future. I have owned horse before but the way my finaces are I think buying a rescue horse might be the way to go. I know alot of these horses have been neglected, abused or used to be race horses. I understand the situation and I would tackle it with grace.

If I would have the financial situation to have a horse or two horses I would take good care of a rescue horse. It is possible to do correction with horses as it is with us human beings. A horse should have the chance to have a good healthy happy life as well as a human being.
