does transit marketing influence your buying behavior?

Transit marketing compose of the advertisements we see printed on the body of a bus, cars, subways, waiting areas, and other forms and places of public transit. This also includes billboards along the highway. Does these advertisements influence your buying behavior or they just serve as a way of making a few moments pass as you were going to your destination. When you see an advertisement of a product, will it stick on your mind and eventually want to but or it will just fade away as you reach your destination? Lots of companies pay so much for transit marketing thinking that it have a lot of buyer penetration. It depends on the product and the advertisement. I am somehow influenced by transit marketing. Like when I see a transit advertisement of my favorite fastfood, it makes me want to go at that moment and eat. Are you influenced by transit marketing?
