For me, i think it's everything. It is exactly a journey we take inside ourselves to become the best person who was instrumental in creating another life through God. It tears me down to realize that being a parent is such a precious task, seeing their first smiles, the warmth of kids' hug, the unconditional love they show and feel. Such an amazing chapter of a life, priceless, and the best of it is loving them so purely and completely, their happiness becomes yours. I am so glad I am a parent. :_)

Being a parent is the hardest and most beautiful job. For that once was born, you realize that you have a big responsibility - you wonder how to protect it better, how much freedom to give and when, how and when to let your puppy to fly . Every moment of new things to learn. In fact, learn life lessons with them that otherwise we would not know where to them. Learn together so that each child is unique, we must adapt, we know that there are no patterns of growth or smart enough books - he shows us the path we must follow.
The art of being a parent (he is an art, after all, not all of us understand to be equally successful artists) do not learn from books because there is no manual, no clear rules, and the baby is .. . unique.

Parenthood is actually a noble task. It is not as simple as some people believes so one could not just jump into marriage without being prepared to be a good parent. When I got married I thought that was the best thing that happened to me. But when I become a mother I thought another best thing comes. Of course it is accompanied by lots of responsibilities but I loved and enjoyed my new role just the same. Being gifted with a child is such a big blessing and being able to nurture and raise that child into a child God wants her to be is to me the best part of being a parent.

I completely agree with you dynzdolina. I am a mother of two children and I am very happy and blessed. My husband and I are partners in rearing them and we enjoyed every moment of it from their conception to the time they were born and grew up. I have no regrets that I gave up my job and became a full time mother because it is so fulfilling watching them grow, hearing the first words they utter, seeing them take their first steps.
Every experience with them are worth cherishing. They also energize me especially when they will give me a note and wrote how much they love me and then give me butterfly kisses and a big hug. I think nothing would beat that. I would never exchange motherhood for the world.
Thank you for this interesting discussion!
