Do I need to have my own website to sign up as an affiliate

Hello mylot people. I've got so confused whether I should have my own website or not in order for me to earn from affiliate marketing. Some pay per sale don't require you to have your own website but how about paid to lead?. What should I write on the "company". the sign up form are so confusing.

It is not necessary. When you are joining as affiliate you are joining that because you think you can promote that product. Having a website only helps to promote that affiliate. But there are many other ways to promote affiliates products. And they are very effective also.
