Hello whforget, based on the option you've given, I chose Jessie. I think it is more appealing and nice to hear. And I think it is also appropriate in your personality as i look into your photo.
Add me as your friend here in mylot will you?
Thanks to you!!!

Tina, or Jessie, or jessica, which is what Jessie is shortened to. ;] My brother lived in Beijing for a year, and his English tutor chose the name Bessie. which i don't know if you know this, but many farmers in the USA name their cows Bessie or Betsy. I don't know why, but my brother never had the heart to tell his tutor she chose a name that is usually saved for Cows.
but all of the names you have to choose from are very cute! ;]

There would be several ways of choosing an English name for yourself.
You might choose a name that sounds similar to your Chinese name or, since nearly all names have a meaning, you might choose a name which has the same (or a similar) meaning to your Chinese name or, perhaps, says something about you which you are or aspire to be.
If you want to research the meanings of Western (not only English) names, there are literally hundreds of sites which give the meanings of names. Here is just one: http://www.meaning-of-names.com/girl-names/ and you can find more by searching for 'meanings of names' like this: http://search.mylot.com/search.aspx?t=web&k=meanings+of+names
Most people don't have the luxury of choosing their own name. They have to rely on their parents or family to choose one for them at birth. Fortunately, most of us tend to like our given names, though some are embarrassed about them and shorten them or insist that others call them by a different name.
I think that, if I were choosing a Chinese name, I would like one that not only sounds something like my name (Andrew) but also means something good or complimentary in Chinese! I have heard stories of Westerners in China who, when they asked for a Chinese version of their name, were given something that SOUNDED something like it but, in Chinese, meant something rude or uncomplimentary. Of course, they weren't told until much later what the name really meant and spent months or years, even, thinking that people were pleased to see them when they smiled at the name!

I also think the meaning is more important, then I collect these names as I mentioned above, but I
get "choose disability" which makes me have difficulty in choosing^^
Thanks for your help, I've already got something on my mind though I need a few days to decide
