Longing to go back. Home is where the family and free maid service is. As a young kid, it is the parents that pay the bills and take care of the house. Oftentimes they do meals and laundry to. This is a wonderful time of freedom and innocence - what ten year old has a realistic view of what adult life and responsibilities are like? At ten my major concerns were desert and not getting a certain teacher upset. My those are great days. Your family - whether they intend to or not - shield you from being slapped by the real world. Many kids want to grow up but don't realize what they got! I kind of miss that era - I like my freedom and independence as an adult but I could do without the truck load of responsibility. Coming home reminds me of being a goofy kid. Leaving takes me back to the real world, and I don't always want to go. :P)

Freedom is indeed excellent, but it isn't free. It comes with great responsibility. :)

Leaving home make me have more freedom.I have more time to communicate with other people, and I can meet so many interesting stuffs,I can learn what I never learned. It's good!!But sometimes I also miss my home.Home is the place where I grew up,it's full of memories.

Lots of people would go through such kind of sad feeling. Don't be upset,it is a challenge for you each time you leave, just be confident and you could feel better.Just thinking that, leaving home is for better future.LOL.have a nice day.

I think that, no matter how independent you want to be, leaving home is always a difficult task. It just feels like you're leaving where you belong. But the good thing is that you know that it will always be there for you, and that it isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so you can always return to it!
