and just be contented and learn when to stop. I was talking about a game i played, in which I win sometimes. I just won once today but lost 2 times..I should have stopped. This has happened lots of times before when i tried to push my luck and end up losing big. It's just the same in life, we should learn to be contented of what we have so we may not lose it all.

This is very true in sports betting and gambling as well. This is why these casinos and betting agencies are so wealthy, because we want lots of money in a short period of time. Instead of using proven strategies to make us money, we tend to get carried away with the adrenaline which these type of games give us and lose all of our money in no time.

I guess we have this kind of attitude trying our luck for fast bucks which is really easy if we got lucky, rather than doing things that gives positive results. And in the end we lost more than what we gain.Yes, we get carried away to go on to win back what we have lost.So we must control ourselves and learn to accept our limits if enough is enough.

Hey this happened to me and happens to me at times too! i love playing the jackpot whenever I go out with friends and halfway through I'm, most of the time, winning and should have quit playing when I had the money but by the time I stop playin, I will have already lost everything
The thing is I keep thinking I'll earn much more but sadly that's just a trick, I think. They make us keep thinking we'll win but the truth is we hardly do. Anyway a lesson I should have learned long ago but still haven't.

Yes, I think it happens to all who are addicted to gambling. They have no contentment. If it's possible they want to have all the money in the game.So we must learn to control ourselves. Our hard earned money might go down the drain, but sometimes it's really fun and exciting especially if you think your winning it's very hard to stop.

This one is a very tricky one. There are some conventional wisdom saying that you should push yourself to the limits which contradicts to contentment. In my opinion, striking a balance between contentment and motivation to move up should always be considered. However, the judgment on when is enough and when to stop is the most trickiest part of it. Just my thoughts.

Well said my friend.when you reached your limit that's the time to stop. The problem is we always want more even though we think it's enough.I guess it's natural for us.

hello, stanley, it's no need to blame yourself cause we are all normally people. there is an old chinese saying called people who are easy to contented are always happy, however, most people in daylife are not contented with something they already had but pursuit something they don't owned. maybe just humanity feature i think.

Yes, contentment is the key to happiness. We must to accept that enough is enough and not to want more.Because in doing so most of the time we get frustrated.

Well that's life. We all seem to want more than what we have not realizing that what we have is actually enough or even in excess. I'm also guilty of pushing my luck. You always want to win but thats not how life goes. We just need to be happy with what ever comes out way and learn to be content with it.

Yeah, your right we should learn to accept what we achieved or have and not to push our luck to the limit.I guess it's natural for us to want more because we have no satisfaction. With this mannerism the result are mostly failures.

Contentment is the key to happiness but being greedy is man's nature that cannot be avoided sometimes.

AS you have said it is man's nature to have no satisfaction. This attitude of ours lead us to more disappointments. If only we could learn to accept and be contented on what we have then greed will be a thought in the past.
