hello pretty ladies:)
I just want to share one of my beauty secret...lol:) since I was a child I was seeing my mom using lemon for beauty treatment, she keeps on telling me that It is wise to choose non-chemical product, or those products that contain ingredients that are made from nature. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is one of them.
Lemon juice is naturally rich with fruit acids and natural sugars. Not only does it remove dead skin cells but it also bleaches darkened or discolored areas. Lemons also contain a high amount of Vitamin C. Lemon juice is a natural antioxidant which helps stimulate collagen production in your skin.
So now before I take a bath I take time to apply lemon juice all over my body, from head to toe,I do it every saturday...
Friends please feel free to share your beauty regimen with me...:)

Hello there girl! So, what have been the effects of this regimen to you? I mean, did it made you whiter or help you achieve that smooth skin. I also want to try this before but I don't have much time to do this because I'm always rushing. If this has really great effects, I'll find time to do this.
And I can use lemon alternatives, too, right? I mean, other citrus fruits?

Oh, so its also proven and tested (by you). How many minutes do you usually leave that on your skin? Doesn't that hurt, because that's still acid, right?

Oh, I could not possibly do that now. When we have 8:30am classes, I even get late sometimes.. Maybe, I'll do that on our semester break since I don't have much things to do. And since you have tried and tested it already, I really want to do it.

I have known people to do this, and I start out to do it, at least on my face but I forget to keep up with it. I knew a lady who would cut a lemon in half, then dip it in salt and scrub her face. I have also heard that if your elbows look really dark to take the halves of the empty peels and use them as cups on you elbows to bleach.

hi:)
oh I never tried dipping it in salt, though I know that salt is a natural scrub but I'll probably wont do that... lol, if I'll put salt on it most likely it will go directly in my mouth, hehe :D
thank you for your comment:)

When queens are bathing in milk you are bathing in lemon juice!
What your mother said is quite true. A college friend once told me she's not using any deodorants sold in the market but she's using lemon juice instead. She rubs her underarm with lemon juice every single day. I didn't have that patience so i didn't even try.
But now i rub lemon to my underarm, bikini line and some areas every single day. Yes, it's not every Saturday but every single day. So now i take a shower for an hour to do those daily rituals of mine.

So it has advantages to our body and it's not used everyday. I like it. I have known that lemon is really good for our skin but I haven't tried it yet. Mine is not a beauty secret. For my body, after bathing and body is still wet, I apply cocoa butter lotion all over my body my face excluded. I do it every day.

Hello dear. I also using lemon juice before taking a bath and its very effective to lighten some part of your body like underarms, knees, elbows etc. Be careful not to stay the lemon juice on your body for a long time, maybe 1-2 minutes then rinse it with water. Lemons are very strong and your skin might burn. Calamansi, a fruit like lemon available here in our country is also effective, though it is more stronger than lemon so you need to mix it with water and honey. This also whitens your skin and lighten dark spots on you body.

hi:)
yes absolutely effective and it doesn't hurt on the pocket, I let it stay for 30 minutes to 1 hour on my skin, but it never hurt my skin even once, perhaps depending on skin the type. yes I use calamansi too when lemon is not available, but if I use that I only let it stay on my skin for 10 minutes max because it's stronger. thank you for your comment:)

Thanks for sharing. I also heard it from a morning show that lemon helps to lighten dark spots on your body.
You can also try olive oil to help moisturize your body. It also lighten scars and help your skin feeling soft and smooth.

i've heard from a famous doctor that citrus fruits can whiten skin but its not advisable in tropical countries where it is hot because it may have not desirable effects if your frequently exposed under the sun.

hi:)
I think it's alright, but if you're exposed to sun always use sunblock even if you're not using lemon or any whitening beauty products, you need to apply sunblock for your protection on UV raise. thanks for your comment:)

I've heard of lemon as beauty treatment but I also hears some horror stories about it because lemon are strong and our skin is very sensitive which can just cause rashes, irritation and burned if you apply it every now and then. I really dont have beauty secret nor apply anything on my face and neck. Proper hygiene and eating healthy food are one good thing to enhance beauty, plus right vitamins to top it off.

I love lemon and have used it for years as both an astringent (during my teen years) and as a natural bleach for my elbows. It also has a pleasant smell but excessive use can dry my skin so I use it one time every week on the elbows. I am also a big fan of lemon water and tea with lemon due to the many health benefits as you noted as well as the bioflavonoids that lemon contains. Thanks for the lemon tip. I will have to try applying to my body before a bath.

not advisable for me to do that everyday. Im always rushing and spend 30 mins in the bathroom. Putting lemon all over my body will take me longer. I bet you need to do that everyday for best results. Am I right? Anyway, thank you for that. If lemon is not available, can I use other citrus product as an alternative?
