Babies color preference.

Because babies cannot answer questions, we have to infer their preferences from their behavior. Interest in this subject goes back to the turn of the century, when one psychologist observed this nine-month-old daughter and noted that she showed a stronger preference for a red toy over the green ones.
More recently, when four-month-old infants were shown different colors at a time, for about 15 seconds each, they spent more time looking at red and blue than at other colors. And when a pure color was shown side by side with blended color, most babies looked longest at the pure colors.

Oh I heard about this. But I thought it was exclusive to the color red. I mean, babies prefer looking at the color red because it is the first color they see aside from black and white (well, at least according to the experts). Now, because of this discussion of yours, I understand why my daughter liked looking at the color blue so much as a baby. Interesting huh? :)
