Borborygmi: this word refers to the rumbling, gurgling sounds come from yours insides at the most embarrassing moments. Usually you assume that your stomach is growling, and that it does so because you are hungry. But much of the time the growl is gas moving in the digestive system, frequently in the intestine rather than the stomach.

I only hear my stomach growls when I have diarrhea and surprisingly my feces are completely liquid.

What most people don't know is that our stomach is constantly rumbling. Sometimes, it's just not as noticeable! Our entire digestive system follows a specific process, and the movement within our body of the digestive system transferring food from our mouth, to our stomach, and then out our body sometimes produces sounds. When we're hungry, the sounds are more prominent because our stomachs are empty and the digestive system is basically working without any substances. So when we're full, they have something to work with, and we can't hear the rumbling as much!
