Is it worth it to become a ChaCha guide?

I have just registered as one today, and I am about to go through the training. If I am able to make a few dollars a day I would be happy. The initial process to sign up wasn't difficult at all, and the site does not expect its guides to know everything, and expects them to rely on quick, strategic searching and quick typing, which is something I am good at.

Hi lilbabycatapillar! I am very happy working for ChaCha, it is not enough to be a sole source of income but you wont make this kind of money with any other online site. I work about 4 hours a day, always plenty of work, always having contests for extra cash, admin is great, payments are never delayed, training is easy, bonus for referring. I think it's the best text/answer site out there, I have tried Guru but I don't think they have as much work and I applied for kgb but never got hired. For my effort I make $300-$400/month and it is not very difficult, good luck!

That sounds very interesting. I have heard about this program, but have not got around to joining the program. I certainly must take a look at it, and try to understand how it works, what is needed and what the benefits would be. Thank you for the information.

I also have heard about his site, you could actually make decent money but it takes alot of time and effort on your part. You can make anywhere from $5 to $9 an hour. Also they only pay through paypal, you get once a month but if you make minimum you can request your pay out any time with a $2 fee. Becareful with taking the test though because if you fail you have to wait 6months to reapply.

I worked for ChaCha as a guide for a little while back in 2010. I would say that it is good if you are willing to put the time, but definitely don't expect to make a lot of money with it. I noticed that the payouts for contests went down significantly during my time as a guide. I would say that it's good for anyone who wants to put in the time, but it can get a bit frustrating answering questions and finding good answers. If you are committed to it, then it could definitely be worth it though.

I think kgb is better when it comes to providing great compensation and benefits.Only that, you have to undergo a difficult training. But anyway, good luck and work hard so you can earn a lot.

I think it would be cool to do this too but I don't want to do it if it's not worth it.
