Something I like to fantasize about is an apocalyptic world where zombies run rampant. The only survivors within my area are my dog and I or perhaps a close friend. I just like to think about her and I, living in a shackled, boarded up house, living off canned food, while generators power just a few rooms in the house. When the generators run out, we would make a speedy escape to a dense forest area in my pickup, loaded with food, supplies, and weapons. We would live out there, while periodically migrating across the mid west, for the rest of our lives. Once she were to die, I would search for any other survivors. If I was unsuccessful, I would most likely commit suicide, seeing as my only companion in the world was dead. It wouldn't be a suicide committed out of sheer depression and remorse, I would just do it because there is nothing more I could do in a world like that.
