My home country is in a recession and lots of people haven't got a job. There have been riots in London, Birmingham and Manchester this month. The cost of living right now is very high. There is a big worry about global warming. Look at history and life has not been rosy all the time. I hate war happening because people get killed. I would like to see world peace happening but this is unlikely. I would like to still enjoy like by walking in the countryside and by the sea. I am keen on reading books and writing stories. I love my two pet dogs and they delight me. I enjoy caring for my three kids. I have a 16 year old son, a 4 year old disabled son and a 2 year old daughter. My top hobby is traveling to different countries. I can happily remember my trips that happened in the past. I need to decide where I will go in 2012. I will be combing a week of term time with a week or more of the school holidays.

The government say they will spend two years getting the rioters. They could end up in jail. My local council wants to find ways of saving 47 million pounds. I world is still a beautiful place and people should stop any violence.

All these things...poor economies, wars, droughts, rising cost of living, riots etc. etc. have been continuously happening - some since time began and some since the world became capitalised and industrialised. I had a peep at your profile to see your age, and note that you are of the age when we begin to notice and think about things like that. As far as being punished by nature is concerned, I think we have destroyed our planet to a degree whereby it seems as if it's giving us greater and more destructive spells of weather across the globe in more recent years and although I don't think of nature as a force that can think and decide to punish, I believe we are now going through the consequences of past mis-use of our planet in the sense that although at the time we probably didn't intend to, we changed the eco-structure to work against us rather than for or with us.

i totally agree with you but i think nature is a spirit and we should be very carefull on how we handle it.unfortunately, instead of us (icluding our world leaders)finding a solution we are just experditing toward its enchroachment.....i don't have any avast to technology but we need to embrace it carefully without interfering with nature...
