I was just wondering if anyone here plays Minecraft, more specifically the current Beta version?
I've been hearing a lot about the game lately and two days ago started fooling around in the free classic mode to try getting an idea what the fuss was all about. So far, from what little I can tell (though apparently the classic one is outdated so yeah), I've enjoyed it and the MC Beta looks pretty cool from what I have seen in videos on Youtube.
People have made some pretty amazing stuff in the game, that's for sure.
I was thinking about buying it since it's only $21. For anyone who has played Minecraft Beta, is it worth it? Did or do you enjoy Minecraft if you have played?

I love this game! I also recently got a (perfectly exact) tattoo of a minecraft obsidian cube. (lol)
I've played this game on the XBox360 and on a computer, and the computer version is way better. The XBox version is much newer and much less developed, but still worth playing if you don't have a computer, or prefer console games in general. The PC version has way more to it, and is unlimited in scope (you never hit the "edge" of a map) and I really like that. Also, the XBox version does not have NPC villages, and I love finding and playing with those. :)

Yeah, I have the PC version of Minecraft myself. So I hear the 360 version is actually a slightly older version of Minecraft, but I've never played it so I'm not sure if that's true or not.
I do like the idea of a virtually never-ending map lol.

I play minecraft, but I only play the free one that can be found on the Minecraft website. I think it's perfectly fun to play around in sandbox mode, and plus I'm not a big enough player to justify buying the paid version. Minecraft is a lot of fun to just relax and build stuff.
