What will you miss the most about summer?

What ai would miss the most about summer ending is what I always miss, not wearing a jacket. I can't stand when the winter comes in and every time I go outside I need to wear a jacket or a coat. It is so annoying to me. I also do not like breathing in all the cold air. So, I would not mind if the winter was at least like the fall, a little cool but easy.

Well, my daughter finished kindergarten just a couple months ago - so this was her first "summer vacation". Along with her little brother, we went on many adventures . . . we visited many places (which is my excuse for not being on myLot much - hee hee). I will miss our adventure buddy as she will be starting school in a couple weeks - but then I'll have some alone time again with my son.

I will miss running the bus (which is way cheaper than paratransit) and rolling (I'm in a wheelchair) to the library. I also miss the farmer's market. All the yummy veggies and fruit.

For us in the area where I live we will have a sort of Cheyenne Autumn when the heat go away but we still have nice and warm days. THis goes on until early October when it starts getting cold. By halloween it is getting nippy. I will miss the smaller power bills and having the windows open for fresh air. I miss the activities my gandson can be a part of in the Summer months.

Well I am in Texas and it is so so hot here in the triple digits and you can not enjoy anything here at all!! I wanted to go swimming this year but This is the first year I have not been at all because we used to live in an apartment where there was a swimming pool and I could go there but even then you would just jump in to hot water!! So I really won't miss anything at all here thhia summer I just wish these triple digit heats would stop!!

ah, I want to say, what I miss most about summer is skirts, various beautiful skirts. I feel lightsome wearing them. And I think skirts can show a female charm. I guess, a majority of girls like skirts. Sometimes, i feel sorry for boys because they cannot wear skirts. They cannot feel cool and freshing when a burst of breeze is blown. It's a great experience that I sit on the back seat with my satin skirt aflutter, my dear boyfriend riding the bicycle through the campus, in the sunshine of a summer afternoon.

Well now it is December 26th, 2011 as I am responding back to this discussion. It is a time of reflection and I know since it is now a lot cooler here I do often find myself missing Summertime. Since it usually is a time when we see little rain and definately more sunshine it is something to look forward too each yr. for sure.

I will miss camping and going to the pool and swimming....but most of all since I camp with my son and his family..I'll miss being with my little granddaughter as much as I have been the last three summers since we bought the camper!

nothing!!!!! this was literally the worst summer of my entire life. i spent the whole summer working...and not just anywhere...MCDONALD'S!!!! lol. yes it is as bad as it seems (if not worse). so anyway i also got sunburnt (even though i am black lol). my husband got hit by a car and i was the only one working for a while and i moved like twice. i also have not even seen a pool or amusement park which i always like to go to during the summer and have gone to every summer for the past 6-10 yrs straight. the only thing that can be guaranteed to happen that is good happened (of course) which was my birthday. it comes every year though lol so that is not anything to be impressed with....so yeah. better luck next year i guess

The warmth. I am not a huge fan of cold weather and it can get pretty cold here. I enjoy it for a little while...I am happy with the first snow...but after that..I am ready for summer again. I will also miss my weekends off. I don't have those in the winter where I work. That is our busy season.

I'll miss the long days and not having to get up so early in the morning. I do like the fall with it's milder temperatures and beautiful colors, but seeing summer leave does sadden me a bit.

Absolutely the summer temperatures. It won't be long and it will be winter here in Canada....and most of us can't wait for the summer heat again.

hi, of course the first thing i always miss and remind me is the beaches,the breeze of the sea that will really make me relax and calm,the sands that really nice to walk with my feet,those are the things i really missed and makes me excited when the summer is soon to come.

Believe it or not, I will miss being busy at work. Summer is my busy time. I love it when I get in and there so much to do.I also will miss wearing no layers. I love cooler weather but I it is a pain to wear three or four layers.

I guess as autmn kicks in every year, I begin to see the light fading and the days getting shorter. Plants and trees start to change and die back for the winter. It gets dark a lot in the middle of the afternoon. I miss the light and life of the summer months... _Derek

In summer, I love being able to leave my house and go for a walk without having to put on a jacket or taking an umbrella in case of rain. I just can't take the same risk in the autumn and winter, so I am not looking forward to that in the slightest. However, I do like being cosy in front of a hot fire during the winter, so I suppose that I am looking forward to that aspect of it. I am not able to do everything that I love to do in the winter, such as sit in the garden reading a good book, because the weather just simply isn't good enough to do so.

I love summer and i miss the sunshine each time i wake up and feeling well. I miss when i'm in good mood,the great memories are just coming out.Although sometime it is so hot,but overall,summer is just so attracted to me,autumn is coming but i cherish every moment great summer bring to me.

I live in tropic country and we have sun almost for the whole year except in the rainy season. I dont like rainy season I have to wear raincoat or bring umbrella to go out, and I think I will miss my summer dress so much because in rainy season I need to wear raincoat to go out or wearing sweater to make me warm. We never have extreme cold weather here and that is why I dont think I wont miss too much from summer. Sure i will miss the beach but I can replace it with another activity.
