hello friends,
This question just came into mind that after watching a worthless and irritating advertisement.
Are the beautiful, curvy figured, pretty females are really for all types of advertisements? Does this works on you? I mean by doing this type of advertisements are they really being able to attract people?
Well,I don't think so.What do you think?
what i just saw a commercial for a baby food, but I hardly found the baby and the baby food, the total commercial was dominated by the baby's curvy figured mother.
So don't think this is a sick mentality to attract people by using the females like this way?though i really love to watch some good innovative commercials. But I find this unnecessary and abusive use of females in such an advertisement (like underwear etc) very irritating.
what do you feel friends??

I think children and animal commercials are the best..they are usually cute and funny and most important ..memorable.
There is a theory that some commercials are stupid on purpose so you would remember them but I don't think that works as well as the cute/funny ones.

I think not only in t.v commercials but also in actual work.I worked before as a medical representative and most managers hire women than men and they are also particular with the figure and beauty of the woman because this kind of job is promoting and covering the doctors with sample medication and I think this is also a company strategy to get a lot of sales from doctors and pharmacies.

I think that on most adverts, people tend to use smaller models. With anything, if we show someone alongside it who is attractive, we are much more likely to see the product as positive and will be more likely to buy or invest in the product in question. If there were people displayed who were unhealthily overweight, it would make everyone think about things which were unhealthy and they would therefore not see the product in a positive light and because of that they wouldn't want to buy it.

Let's get to reality here. It's about selling. We want to sell more. What do we do??? I have seen this on a sales floor. A very pretty girl will always out sell everybody. Even women buy more from them. This translates into commercials. Sure, many commercials are in poor taste, but the pretty girl sells. Be honest, everyone. Someone physically attractive will always sell us quicker that average or homely people.
