a friend or a girlfriend?

I have watched a beautiful romantic movie which made me giddy over two bestfriends who were caught between their friendship and their love for one man. Friend 1 had this man originally being her classmate in college who has an interest on her but is too dumb to tell her until he was introduced to friend 2 who have long been wanted to settle down. The man and friend 1 knew that they have this secret longing towards each other but is too shy to admit their feelings until friend 2 came into the picture....can you afford to cut your friendship to a long time friend over your love to a man whom you have secretly desired for a long time?

dear i think if you are making a friend he will remain with you forever without much tension and headache
and there are much less tension of loosing him or her rather than girl friend
