no, of course not. i do not find life is meaningless. we make life meaningful by what we do... how we live our lives. do not search for something that is meant for others. find what is meant for you, find what is your calling, what you can give and leave in this world... that would make your life meaningful.. and you will never ever feel its meaningless.

Well, you are certainly right. We live and we die. Nobody lives forever. But I would say that how you live your life will determine how meaningful it will be. Money, fame and fortune is the measure of the life's goodness considering that they will fade away. But living life with honor, integrity and character will surely leave a lasting legacy that one may emulate and will surely make and provide meaning to life.

Life is far from meaningless. Your comments on money and fame should make people think about the choices they are making in life and the value people place on things that should not be the most important things. I do agree that focusing socially on fame and money doesn't get us anywhere. Right now however it does provide the necessities of life. I do believe that there is a purpose to life. That we were created with the need to serve God, and enjoy life with our family and friends on this earth. Unfortunately we get sick, grow old and die but that was never the intention for us. We were created with the desire to want to live and enjoy our life. To enjoy this beautiful planet.

I do think that we have a purpose in life, whether we know it or not. Sometimes, it can be difficult to see it, but I do think that we have a purpose. It makes me feel a little better.

I think we are here as a test. We may have some Karma to repay here on Earth. Fate will take a hand in when you die. And they say that the one with the most toys wins. lol I think those things are what some people think is important. Others feel giving back and being a good human being is all important.

I think most of us ask these unanswerable questions at some points in our lives, very often when we are having a hard time, or if we have lost a loved one. The rest of the time we just get on with the day to day stuff, whether it be doing the school run or or commuting back and forth to work, that is, if we have work to commute to any more! I have felt this way many times and I really do not recommend dwelling on it, it is depressing and doesn't change or improve anything. We are here, we live our lives as best we can and hope to be happy, the rest, we may or may not discover after wards, there is nothing we can do about it.

What is purpose of a gift which your friend offers you? The same purpose is of life. Friend offers us gift to show his/her love to us. God also show his love to us through this gift. Now, It depends on you that whether you use the gift for its best or just waste it just thinking of its purpose.

Of course everything is temporary in life. Nothing will last forever. Unless you truly make an impact in this world that you will remember, you may call this a legacy. Life is only meaningless if your make it meaningless. The purpose for each individual life is always different. Don't live your life in point form, live your live in paragraphs. Pretty good eh? Just made it up. Don't ever ask the question why when it comes to living, you just do it. If you question why you are breathing even though you don't think you can achieve, that is a mistake. That is why it is very common for people to say to keep moving forward. Think about it, if people can achieve so much by working hard, don't you think if you put just as much effort or more, you'll be able to achieve more? I certainly think so.

yes i think of that once...what are the purpose of my life and still never got the answer..but im here must be a reason and maybe this is a gift from god that im here..to see a beautiful world, to experience a good think and a bad think and to testing me if i qualified or not for HIM

Life has meaning as long as we breathe... Life is full of meaning and yes it is temporary. But that doesn't mean we have to just sit around and do nothing and grief thinking that one day we will die and everything will be put to nothing. We work and we earn not only for today but for the future. Not only for our future, but for the future of our children and their children too. We become famous, we build our career, to fulfill ourselves now and be remembered in the future. We have a temporary life, but all the things we do will be remembered even after we die, if we do things with our best.
