Learning the template making

I wan to be a good web desginer i know basic of html xhtml and css i had studied the PHP to but not gone for the javascript and ajax
i wan to make templates for the blogger can any body give the good links where i got to learn how to make the template

start from basic and then go on you surely learn how make the template.
I think learn html first or xhtml then go for css and then java script and try to match your learning eith older template codes.
Php and ajax have no role in template making as far as i know

Well thanks for the suggestion i had one subject that i had studies about the html css xml and javascript.
I am not gone advance in all of them but i can use them properly.

Well to be a good Web designer you need to learn all the folloeing languages:
Html
Css
javascript
Php and Mysql
Xml
then only you can be a good website designer
And for all the above languages basics refer now to www.w3schools.com
It's a great website for beginners.

I know basic of all Html Css javascript Php and Mysql as well as Xml.
But i didn't know how these work in blogger. Though i had studied xml very well but had to do much more practice to gain everything in making. Also css and javascript i need to imporve much more and do some advance study to be able to make good template. I had tried some small one column template and suceed also but get error in making larger one.
Though php and mysql is necessary for web developer and desginer but in template making there is no use of them. Also i had tried to learn perl and ajax to improve the web development.
