Summer is ending and school will be starting soon....

So with the end of summer near and the new school year will be upon soon, I am thinking of having an end of summer bbq party....like a theme party, set out some beach theme party favors, invite the family and just have a day of it before the new school year starts. I also have plans to do a small landscape project in the front yard so that it has time to adjust before the winter months start. Is there a tradition that you do, a family get together, a last vacation that you will get to go on.....any thing new that you wanted to try before the summer is over?

Sounds like a good idea. Although, I have to say that in our country summer has ended months ago. We usually have beach picnics with family and friends or visit one good nature spot like the local water falls or park and spend the whole afternoon with some snacks and music. One thing new I want to try next summer would be traveling to a new city and try out their casinos.

I would probably try fishing too. It has been a long time plan with my brothers and friends, but we never really get to settle a good schedule to realize it. I hope that we could make it happen anytime soon. I am still excited about it and I don't think I need to wait for next summer to arrive before we go doing it.

We usually travel near our area in .my son usually likes to travel with his friends.I want to have a good rest before the new term start.we will busy soon.there are many things have to do .some must be finished before the new term.

I have a feeling it is going to be a busy couple months for us as well, things should settle down a bit after christmas for us.... then it will be winter time and I should be inside much more often. Labor day weekend we go camping. So far this summer though we have been doing alot of it. There isn't anything new I want to try before the summer is over! Good luck with your party though! Sounds like a great time!

We havent gone camping in years.... granted I have been pregnant twice in the last 3 yrs and going with new babies is never fun... now we need a bigger tent (actually we are looking into getting a pop-up trailer) and maybe next year we can do some camping again. My family usually goes to the Renaissance Festival in Minnesota each year. We enjoy the shows and sites, but we mostly enjoy the food.
