for all harry potter fans

After watching the first movie, I never wanted to watch any of it's series again nor read the book. It was just plain disappointing. My girlfriend insisted that we watch the last one, so I gave in and again, just got disappointed. Now I'm thankful this series came to an end so that better ones could come. They all claim that I should read the book to really appreciate the story, I get what they mean, but I found it no longer interesting to me.

I have seen the first seven movies, yet to see the last one and have read the first four books of the Harry Potter series. I actually loved the first HP movie, well, lowering my expectations helped and I mean really low. And so I wasnt dissappointed with the end result of what the movie had become all the missing points and all. But as the series went along I started expecting more of the series and the movies sadly fell short of of my expectations falling more as with each installment. However when reaching the fifth movie I watched it blind, as in not knowing what is going to happen. And I was surprised with my reaction towards the movie, it wasnt that bad. So every movie there after of the Harry Potter series was pretty good in my eyes, all two of them(havn't watched the last one yet, so cant comment). In relation to the television show idea. I think it will not be a good idea. The budgets for making the Harry Potter Movies were immense and the same feel of the movies can never portrayed in a television series.

Very good idea,rohit.You know ,most people who watch the H p movies without reading the books are clueless most of the time.So it really is good if a tv series is made-provided they dont skip important parts from the books'
