the country where you have born, where you have learnt all the basic lessons, why would you like to leave that country and server other countries by getting a job in other countries? Most of the students always opt for studying abroad. Students from one country goes to another for study and settles there.
So my question is what did your country get in return from you? What do you do help to improve your country so that you can take pride about country?
And it is very frustrating to see that having a good infrastructure for higher studies and job availability peoples always love to go out of the country for job and study.
This is my feeling. Of course i am not telling that study abroad is bad,but people can come back to their own country and serve their own country. That is my point of talking.

Many people have went abroad and returned back to their own country. but currently it is becoming a trend to settle in abroad. this is mainly because the educational institutions in our country are not of international standard. the pay scale is also very low here. Last of all, in India researchers are not encouraged at all. they don't get any financial backing. that's why more and more people are going abroad. But still i think we should do something for our country to make it better rather than only complaining about it.

yes. That's why indian's financial backing is not improving because they are not coming back. India is losing the jewels who could have made the the main structure of india's fast growth. And also for the same reason indian researchers are not being encouraged all the time. Still india is making there everywhere

Hi Anitoton. Why don't we look at ourselves as world citizen rather than limiting ourselves to one country ?People working in gulf countries do send money here .So aren't they bringing money here from other country? And in a developing country there are shortage of employment opportunities. There is a problem of brain drain but let us also see the positive aspect of things.

it has a very few positive side pickwick i think. because you are sending money, its all yours, your family is using it. yes it is correct that you are injecting money into your countries economics. but it is not helping to develop your country.rather if you come down to your country and serve your country you can get easily to a high post as you are trained from outside your country. In this way you can both improve your position, respect money while serving your country.

Why do people go to study abroad the answer lies here in anitoton's comment. When you are graduated from abroad you will easily get a high post in your country and somewhere else. I strongly agree with pickwick because in the economy of the developing country foreign remittance play a vital role. It contributes a major portion in the GDP. Where you stay and work it does matter but the matter is whether you care for your country and your own people.

I think is not only about study abroad. There are many points of view to discuss. For example I want to go abroad to see more things, to know more places, people, so on. If ther is a place where I can live better, feel better why I need to back in my country? I think your house, your country is where you'll feel good, loved, admired, where you can have a decent life. If your place make you happy, you are right. Finally I like to go abroad :) for more reasons, not only for study. I am not sure yet if I'll be back or not. Depends how good is life there.
