Traditional Chinese Men With Long Hair

Do you find them attractive? Well, I watched some of the Chinese movie and I saw some of the traditional chinese men -- young chinese men with long braided hair down to their waist are attractive. Like for example, Jet Li in "once upon a time in China" -- ha ha ha 
He is handsome in that movie. I find it very attractive.
Now a days, those chinese men have short hair. I was wondering why those traditional chinese men with long braided hair down to their waist do not want to cut their hair. Is it because during their days, they have no barber shop?

In ancient China, people believe that hairs are given by parents, it is not to show filial obedience if somebody cut hair. Another reason is that when a boy get married, he need to roll up his hair, in China it is called husband and wife by the first marriage.

Oh, really? I never knew that. Now, I understand why those ancient chinese men have this long hair and I would say, I like their long braided hair... ha ha

One of the Chinese guys that I used to date had long hair. All the girls liked him with long hair, it made him look cool. He still has his long hair and he is a photographer for conventions and other special events. There are some people who look great with long hair.
