When is it okay to lie to your parents?

Hello my fellow myLotters. I want to know what is your opinion on this... When is it okay to lie to your parents? Please don't tell me how wrong it is, because I know that and common all of us had done it in our lives. So tall me when do you consider it okay.

You should try not to lie to your parents. They are the ones who are supposed to care about you and love you more than anyone else, so they probably only want what is best for you.

Hello Nikkie and welcome to myLot. I don't think it is ever OK to lie to your parents. It can get to be a habit and not if but when they find out you will lose their trust because no one trusts a lier. It would disappoint them too and be hurtful to your relationship. If I had to lie it would be to protect them from worrieing about me because of health..
