What is the best gift for Mom & Dad ?

The problem with buying anniversary gifts for your parents is that by now, they will probably have all the household things that they need and you don't want to waste your money on something which will seldom, if ever, be used. Instead, how about arranging a meal out for them at a nice restaurant? You can ask them to keep the evening free, or let them choose which day suits them and just arrange for them to be collected by taxi and taken there. You could also organize a bouquet of flowers to be delivered while they are there. Don't forget to tell the restaurant that it is an anniversary and you would like it to be made special for them. As a surprise, you could arrive at the end of the meal and take some photos while you share a drink, maybe champagne! I think they would enjoy this far more than another item to fill up their cupboards!
